Charles "Chuck" David Pratt

Charles “Chuck” David Pratt, 58, of South Haven, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was born December 18, 1961 to Jack P. and Janice L. (Poindexter) Pratt in South Haven. Chuck graduated with the class of 1980 from South Haven High School and went on to work in manufacturing at Double J Molding. He married Margie Washegesic on December 23, 1991 and they shared 29 years of marriage before his passing. Chuck loved being outdoors and enjoyed hiking, fishing, and hunting. He was always helping his neighbors. Chuck touched so many lives and always had a friendly smile.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Pratt, daughter, Fawn Raymond, and sister, Deborah Pratt.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Margie Pratt; children – Angela (James) Cuttino, Mianna Jackson, Jermain Swope, Jr., and Allen Doublby, Jr., all of South Haven, Tanya (Mike) Pierce of Plainwell, Cody Pratt of Petoskey, and Chuck Pratt, Jr. of Florence, Arizona; mother – Janice Pratt of South Haven; brother – Jack Pratt of South Haven, fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will take place Monday, January 27, 2020 from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Guthrie officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pratt Family at 1076 S.
