Donaciano "Don"'s Obituary
Donaciano “Don” Menchaca Guerra, 74, of Grand Junction, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at his home. He was born January 1, 1946 to Jesus Guerra and Paula Menchaca in Piedra Negras, Mexico. Don married Margareta Sanchez December 16, 1964. He loved watching football and especially enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed listening to Spanish music. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bangor.
Don is survived by his wife of 56 years – Margareta Guerra; children – Leticia Enriquez, Maria Chavez, Dolores Gomez, Don Guerra, Jr., Elaine Elizondo, Jesus Cruz Guerra, Sandra Torres, Elizabeth McDuffie, Daniel Guerra, and Paula Guerra; siblings – Fernando, Roy, Juan Jesus, Roberto, Micheal, Reginaldo, and Dora Guerra; 41 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM. Friends can make memorial contributions to the Guerra Family.
