Conrad VanDyke Reid

Conrad VanDyke “Cappy” Reid, 73, of Stevensville, MI, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021, at Spectrum Health- Lakeland. Conrad was born on November 15, 1947, to Lewis & Rachel (Conrad) Reid in Camden, NJ. He graduated from Woodstown High School in Woodstown, NJ and then continued his education at Millikin University in Decatur, IL. Before he retired, he worked for D.C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant as an engineer. Cappy’s heart always belonged in Cowtown, New Jersey. In his spare time, he loved to read. Conrad is survived by his siblings Holly Hudson of Wilmington, NC, and Byron Reid of Lake Worth, FL; nephews & niece, Steven (Gwen) Hudson of Willard, NC, Sean (Brianna) Hudson of Charlotte, NC, and Shannon (Bob) Szczypta of Wilmington, NC; and five great nephews and nieces.
