Richard D. “Rich” Anderson, Jr., 50, of Coloma, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021. Arrangements have been entrusted to Clark Chapel and Cremation Services. Per Rich’s wishes, cremation has taken place and memorial service in his honor will be held at a later date. Rich was born April 8, 1971, in Kalamazoo, to Richard and Marjorie (Edwards) Anderson, Sr. He owned and operated his own construction business for many years. Rich was a “jack of all trades” and enjoyed wood working. He had a love for sports; he was an avid NASCAR, Detroit tigers and Detroit Red Wings fan. He was known to his family as the “Weather Man” because he loved the weather. Rich liked being outside doing landscaping and was always proud of his yard. He loved holiday gatherings, especially the Fourth of July and Christmas where he got to spend time with his family. Most of all he loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Rich is survived by his children, Arianna (Hector) Del Real, Grace Anderson, Dale Anderson and Clara Anderson; granddaughter, Skylar “Peanut” Anderson; grandson, Benson Sawyer; siblings, Marie, Tamara, Angel, Michael and Danny; fiancé, Vicki Haynes; and former spouse, Michelle “Shelly” Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Carey and Calvin.
