Patricia's Obituary
Patricia M. Mangold, 90, of St. Joseph, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at The Willows in St. Joseph.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on from 6-8 pm on Thursday, September 2, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Private family burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Caring Circle Hospice. Patricia was born on April 12, 1931, to Oliver, Sr., and Mildred (Sanders) Slater in St. Joseph. She graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School in 1949. She is survived by her children, Skip (Liz) Mangold, Steve (Mel) Mangold, Vera Guess, Angela Strauss, Patrick (Christi) Mangold, Tina Barker and Tammy Strauss; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver, Sr., and Mildred Slater; husband, Wilford Mangold; sons-in-law, Jim “Jessie” Guess and Michael “Booboo” Barker and brother, Oliver Slater, Jr.
