Cherie L. Fisher

Cherie L. Fisher, 73, of St. Joseph, MI, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021, at Spectrum Health, Lakeland with her family by her side. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 4-7 pm on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Cherie was born on June 2, 1948, in St. Joseph. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1966. Professionally, Cherie managed several BP/Amocos in the area, though the downtown Amoco was her main station. She loved camping, fishing and spending time at Riverview Park. Most of all, Cherie cherished time spent with her family. Cherie is survived by her daughters, Paula (Kyle) Querbach of Benton Harbor, MI, Amy Hanners of Elkhart, IN, and Tammy Monte of Baroda, MI; grandchildren, Niquetta “Niki”, Tina, Tommy, Derrik (Alexis), Jonathon, Amanda, Damion, Matthew (Celeste); sixteen great-grandchildren and brother, Edgar Beckman Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Alberta (Allison) Beckman and brother, William Enders.
