Mr. Kelly Jones

Mr. Kelly Jones, 59, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Friday, July 9, 2021 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at Spring Run Cemetery. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the funeral home. Those wishing to share a memory of Kelly online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com Kelly was born February 6, 1962 in St. Joseph, MI to Donald & Diane (Goff) Jones. Graduating from St. Joseph High School in 1980, Kelly went onto Lake Michigan College to graduate with honors. On June 24, 1995 he was married to the love of his life, Ruth Morgan in St. Joseph, MI. Kelly worked for Mitutoyo America Corporation as a Service Engineer and is being recognized for 25 years of dedicated service this year. Kelly took pleasure in riding his custom Harley Davidson motorcycle, spending time with family, friends and fellow riders, as well as meeting those with whom he shared interests along with way. Kelly, a natural, life- long entertainer, also loved rock and roll music and was a talented percussionist. He was always a present and dedicated family man- a loving son, brother and in-law, husband, uncle, father, and grandfather. Kelly lived his life to the fullest and was loved and cherished by all who were blessed to know him. Kelly is survived by his wife Ruth Jones; daughter Lena Jones; son Jesse Jones; mother Diane Jones; grandson Gibson Jones; and three sisters Debi (Tim) Strain, Gerri (Joe) Hercik and Kathy (Steve) Burdick. Kelly was preceded in death by his father.
