Robert “Bob” Huff, 90, of Sister Lakes, MI passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at his home that he designed and built. He enjoyed spending time on the acreage watching the changing seasons and wildlife that inhabited the property. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 12, 2021 at Grace Lutheran Church, 404 E. Glenlord Rd., St. Joseph, with Pastor Glenn Rosenbaum officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Monday at the Church. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church or Caring Circle Hospice. Those wishing to share a memory of Bob online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com Robert was born July 22, 1930 in Cleveland, OH to Fredrick & Florence (Summerfelt) Huff. He graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1950. Bob served his country in the United States Army from 1951 until 1953 during the Korean War. In 1955 he married Beverly Wagner and she preceded him in death. Then on May 16, 1998 he married Bonnie (Bain) Blevins. Robert worked for Whirlpool as a Draftsman, Product Designer, and retiring as a Buyer after 30 years of service. After retirement, Bob also held many part-time jobs. One of his favorites was working for Schroeder Motors as a driver for 13 years. Bob was a member of the Stevensville American Legion Post 568 the Benton Harbor VFW Post 1137 and a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church of 75 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, hunting, cooking, especially his German potato salad and sausage stuffing for family gatherings. He also enjoyed his sport cars in his younger years. Bob is survived by his wife Bonnie Huff; sons Gary (Ami) Huff and Rian (Judi) Huff; step-daughter Sandra Adkins; grandchildren Kaitlin (Nicholas) Hooper and Andrew Huff; step-grandchildren Chad Adkins, Libby (Chris) Morrison, Tyler Blevins and Abby Blevins; great-grandson Elliott Hooper; step-great grandson Greyson Turney; sisters Barbara Rosentreter and Carole (Larry) Gracer; step-daughter-in-law Julie Blevins and many loving nieces and nephews; Bob was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Beverly Wagner and step-son Marc Blevins.
