Cynthia Marie Stimson

Cynthia Marie “Cyndi” Stimson, 58, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 in Wichita, Kansas. A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 6 PM until 8 PM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Cyndi was born on May 6, 1963, in Goshen, IN, to Donald P. & Carol S. (Hammon) Goss. She graduated from Coloma High School in 1981. On May 8, 1982, Cyndi married the love of her life, James Stimson, in Watervliet. For many years Cyndi worked in administration at various medical facilities such as Lakeland, Great Lakes Eye Care and other local Doctor’s offices. Cindy had a love for artwork. She enjoyed painting pictures of nature scenes. She was very proud of her beautiful flower garden, where she took great pride in her roses and lilies. In her spare time, Cyndi would watch drag racing and listen to her favorite musician, Sir Elton John. However, what brought her the most joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Cyndi is survived by her loving husband of almost 40 years, James; children, Jessica Stimson of Bangor and Joshua Stimson of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Leelind, Lylith, and Amelia; siblings, Rob Goss & Amy Goss-Connelly; step-siblings, Tom Archer & Teresa Archer-Becker; step-father, Ron Goldstein; best friend, Carol Rowland; and four-legged companion, Chester. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald & Carol.
