Donna Jean Mahler

Donna Jean Mahler, 76, of Niles formerly of Buchanan, passed away at Spectrum Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, MI on Friday-June 18, 2021. Arrangements have been entrusted to Swem Chapel – 301 W. Front St., Buchanan, MI. Donna was born on December 14, 1944 in LaPorte, IN to Donald and Verneda (Willis) Jones. Donna is survived by a daughter – Patricia Rose Prentice of Elkhart, IN and a son – Michael Allen Nybo of Michigan City, IN; her mother Verneda Willis; a sister – Judy (Robert) Devereaux of Dallas, Georgia; and numerous grand and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband – James Mahler, and her father – Donald Jones. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday – June 23, 3:00pm, with Lt. Kendra from the Niles Salvation Army officiating, at Swem Chapel in Buchanan. Friends may visit with the family one hour preceding the service from 2:00-3:00pm at the funeral home.
