Roger Lynn "Fuzzy" Gray's Obituary

Roger Lynn “Fuzzy” Gray, 67, of Buchanan, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, in Berry, AL. A celebration of life service will be held at noon on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Swem Chapel, 301 W. Front St., Buchanan, MI. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 11- noon also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with final expenses in care of Marilyn Houseworth. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.swemchapel.com. Fuzzy was born on May 23, 1954, in South Bend, IN. He graduated from Buchanan High School. Fuzzy was mostly raised in Buchanan, but also loved Alabama. He was a proud father and grandfather. Fuzzy was a lifelong musician, family and music was his passion. Over the years, he even had the chance to jam with Tommy Shaw of the Styx on several occasions. Fuzzy loved to tell stories and always had a great joke to share. Fuzzy is survived by his sons, Jeremiah (Norka) and Conner Thomas Gray; granddaughter, Sophia; siblings, Marilyn “Sissie” Houseworth, Kathy “Stinky” (Bob) Helms, Randy “Monk” (Mary) Gray, Jamie “Pokey” Gray, Jackie “Bugar” Gray, Carolyn “Pinkie” Gray and Penny “Penny Winkle” (Lee) Threadgill and many beloved nieces, nephews and a host of friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, James Gray and mother, Dorothy (Smith) Lowrance.
