Patricia “Pat” Ludlam, 91, of Coloma, formerly of Benton Harbor, passed away, Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at VNA Hospice in Valparaiso, Indiana. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 P.M. Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. Richard Sing officiating. Friends may visit with family from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Private burial will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Sodus. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Pat’s name may be made to the North Berrien Senior Center in Coloma. Those wishing to sign Pat’s Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Pat was born January 20, 1930 in Benton Harbor to Rolla & Anna (Antes) Cluster. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School, Class of 1948 and attended Michigan State University. On August 6, 1954 she married Albert Ludlam in Benton Harbor. Pat was employed at Indiana & Michigan Electric Co. for many years before she and Albert purchased and operated the Kabaret Lounge in Benton Harbor from 1982 until 1989. Pat attended the St. Joseph-Lincoln Senior Center in St. Joseph, the North Berrien Senior Center in Coloma, and the Twelve Corners Community Church in Benton Harbor. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, crafts, needle point, and knitting & crocheting items for family & charity. Pat is survived by two daughters-Connie Ludlam of Benton Harbor, Sheri (Tom) Carpentier of Valpariso; four grandchildren-Nathaniel, Rebecca, Matthew & Nicholas Carpentier; one brother Jack (Judy) Cluster of North Carolina; and several nieces & nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her husband Albert on July 28, 2003, and by siblings-Gladys Dahms, Grace McMahon, & Donald Cluster.
