Roger D. McLaughlin

Roger D. McLaughlin, 59, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at home. A graveside celebration will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Crystal Springs Cemetery, Benton Harbor. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel, St. Joseph. Roger was born on July 15, 1961, to Hobart Sr. and Betty (Anderson) McLaughlin in Benton Harbor. He graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1979. Professionally, Roger worked at Gast Manufacturing for twenty-five years before retiring. He was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed cheering on Jimmie Johnson in NASCAR. Roger also loved animals and always had a companion, usually a big dog. He is survived by his father, Hobart McLaughlin, Sr.; siblings, Elizabeth Renhack, Tracey McLaughlin, Hobart, Jr (Darlene) McLaughlin, Phillip McLaughlin and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty McLaughlin.
