Roberta Louise Johnston

Roberta Johnston, 74, of St. Joseph, formerly of Greenville, MI, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in Stevensville. A celebration of life service will be planned and announced at a later date this summer. Arrangements are entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel, St. Joseph. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Frederick Meijer Gardens, www.meijergarden.org. Roberta was born November 10, 1946 in Wickliffe, OH to Davis Johnston and Pauline (Cousins) Wazelle. She retired from Isabella Bank in Greenville, Michigan, after twenty-five plus years in 2017. Roberta was an avid reader and was a member of the Greenville Book Club. In her free time, she enjoyed nature, being outdoors, and tending to her flower gardens. Roberta is survived by her children, Geoffrey (Stacy) Solanics, and Jennifer Jones; and her granddaughter, Madelyn Ostenson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Russell; and her parents.
