She made frequent visits to Walmart and goodwill and couldn’t pass up a good garage sale. For her, other peoples junk, were her treasures and she could find a purpose for anything. One of Donna May’s favorite things to collect were Frogs and she had an abundance of them and was still collecting... But her most favorite joy in life was when she was surrounded by her family. Donna May’s grandchildren and great grandchildren knew her as Maw Maw and they were her pride and joy. She absolutely loved to spent time with them. Holidays were also important to Donna May and Christmas always seemed to be the most magical time of the year, especially since shopping and baking, two of her most favorite hobbies was involved. She would prepare a huge dinner with all the fixings and always made sure to include her famous fudge. The door was always open to anyone who wanted to stop by and they were sure to not leave hungry. Donna May’s family lovingly remembers her as fun, sassy, and one of the greatest women that ever lived. She had a heart of gold and you could always count on her. She was the most selfless person you could ever meet and spent a great deal of her time helping anyone she could and making others happy. Her hugs, sense of humor, and compassionate ways will be missed by those who had the privilege of being a part of her life. - “Mosey”
