Delio Rabaza

Delio Rabaza, 83, of St. Joseph, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Spectrum Lakeland Health, St. Joseph. . Delio was born on March 29, 1938, to Carlos and Julia (Carballosa) Rabaza in Cardenas, Cuba. He immigrated to the United States at the age of thirteen. On August 4,1990 he married Ileana Santos. Delio worked for the railroad system for over 40 years and retired as a foreman. He enjoyed photography, wine, fishing, and cooking, but most of all he loved to spend his time with his family. Delio is survived by his wife, Ileana Rabaza who resides in St. Joseph; children, Mario (Diane) Rabaza of Sycamore, IL, Lisa (Brian) Ambrose of Romeoville, IL, and Robert Rabaza; stepdaughter, Monica (Paul) Jancha of St. Joseph; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Rabaza, mother Julia, stepfather Domingo Ortiz, brother, Carlos Rabaza, and son, Anthony Rabaza.
