She graduated from Saginaw Lutheran High School in 1959 and continued her education by attending Lake Michigan College where she earned her associates degree. On November 25, 1965, Sally married the love of her life, Fred Knuth, at Salem Lutheran Church in Coloma. For 15 years, Sally worked for Whirlpool as a secretary until she retired. Sally was a very dedicated member to Christ Lutheran Church. She enjoyed going to Bible Study Fellowship, teaching Sunday School and during her younger years playing the organ during church services. Some of her hobbies included making handmade cards for her family and friends, puzzles, cross stitching, crocheting and sewing. Sally took great pride in maintaining a clean house and tending to her plants. However, what she loved the most was spending time with her family; whether it was cheering on her grandchildren at events or hosting family meals, being with her family brought her the most joy. Sally was an incredible lady, who was always willing to help when needed, she will be truly missed by all who knew her. Sally is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Fred; daughters, Joy (Darren) Stemm of St. Joseph and Rachel (Cory) Rogers of Lake City, MI; grandchildren, Rachel (Mark) Adams, Becca & Kaitlyn Stemm, and Morgan & Job Rogers; and great-grandchildren, Daniel Adams and twin boys arriving soon. She was preceded in death by her parents, George & Loretta, and an infant grandson, Levi.
