Neva M. Williams, 78, formerly of Benton Harbor, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Chalet of Niles. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heritage Chapel, Berrien Springs. She worked in healthcare at Mercy Hospital, Berrien General and as a home healthcare aid. Neva enjoyed caring for others and was a conscientious caregiver. She enjoyed bingo and making others laugh. Neva was a longtime faithful member at Our Center for Better Living Christian Church. She was a Christian woman with wisdom, and was always willing to offer advice to her family and friends. Most of all, Neva was a devoted mother and grandmother. Neva is survived by her daughters, Richell Williams and Tammy Williams; grandson, Bennie Keys; great-granddaughter, Za’Mariah Keys; sisters, April Sanders, Shamika Sanders and Tacarra Sanders; brothers, Obie Thompson, Warren Sanders, Walter Sanders, Freddie Sanders, William Sanders and Robert Sanders; godsister, Sylvia Campbell and a host of other loved ones including: aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Sanders (Thompson) and step-father Wallace Sanders.
