Arla's Obituary
Arla R. Huelsberg, 97, of Stevensville, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021, at Pine Ridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
A celebration of life will be held privately at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, St. Joseph. Burial will take place in North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.
Arla was born on May 17, 1923, to Wallace and Audrey (Gano) Tinkham in Sodus. She attended Benton Harbor High School. On December 20, 1941, Arla married Irving Huelsberg. She was a lifetime member of Saron Lutheran Church in St. Joseph. Arla enjoyed traveling, gardening and sewing.
Arla is survived by her children, Darlene (Richard) Engel, Larry (Starr) Huelsberg and Jackie (Timothy) Nye; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Audrey Tinkham; husband of over 64 years, Irving Huelsberg; sisters, Alma Tinkham and Verna Collins.
