Mary Lou's Obituary
Mary Lou Mallory, 78, of Decatur, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Decatur. She was born January 26, 1943 in Paw Paw to Alba and Nellie (Goens) Mallory.
The family will receive guests from 12pm until time of celebration of life service at 1pm, Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Newell Chapel, 83313 M51, Decatur. Burial to follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Decatur. Memorial contributions may be given to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, www.wish.org.
Born with a disability, Mary Lou was a genuine kid at heart. She was a family woman; always surrounded by her many nieces and nephews. She is warmly remembered as an amazing playmate and babysitter. Mary Lou loved all things Mickey Mouse and horses. Several days before her passing, her family was able to celebrate her 78th birthday together; a memory they will treasure forever.
Mary Lou is survived by her many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Joan White and Alba Mallory, Jr.; and her parents.
