Curtis's Obituary
Curtis John Newburry, 63, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2021 in Kalamazoo. He was born March 27, 1957 in Detroit, MI to William and Marilyn (Szczepanski) Newburry.
In his younger years, Curtis was a cab driver and always spoke fondly of his time on the job. With numerous health issues and limited mobility later in life, he still enjoyed playing bingo as well as video games.
Curtis will be missed by his siblings, Brenda (Dewayne) Covell, Sandra (the late Pat) Gillian, William Newburry, Jr., and Christopher Newburry; and his nieces, Rebecca, Vicky, Amber and Katie.
Services for Curtis will be held privately.
