Vicki Lynn Rudell, 71, of Berrien Springs, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at her home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Berrien County Animal Control, www.berriencounty.org/224/Donations, Metavivor in honor of a dear friend, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Vicki was born on January 17, 1950, in St. Joseph, to Otto, Jr. & Doris (Wetzel) Jasper. She was raised on her family’s farm, The Jasper Family Farm, with her parents and sisters. While attending Berrien Springs High School, Vicki met and eventually married the love of her life, Robert Rudell. On July 30, 1966, the two were married at Trinity Lutheran Church in Berrien Springs. They spent 50 wonderful years together before his passing in 2016. Vicki had a love for flowers. She worked in the floral design industry for 35 years creating beautiful arrangements for various local florist. She also enjoyed the Christmas season, cooking meals for friends and family and just being around people creating new memories. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. Vicki is survived by her children, Ann (Brian) Bowen of Niles, and Lisa (Scott) Howe of Dowagiac and grandchildren, Rebecca (Brian), Nicholas (Kayla), Max (Danielle) and Julia; great-grandchildren, Gibson and Mason; and sister, Donna Jasper. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto, Jr & Doris; husband, Robert; and sister, Linda Marutz.
