He graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1958. Following high school, Loren enlisted in the United Stated Army where he proudly served our country. After 45 years, Loren retired from Bosch of Lincoln Township. On August 13, 1966, Loren married the love of his life, Helen Ziegert, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Loren enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and hunting for pheasant’s and turkeys. He also spent the mornings with his friends having coffee at the old Dale’s Doughnuts and, more recently, McDonald’s. Being the proud father he was, Loren loved cheering on his son, Mark, while he played basketball and soccer. He was known for being a perfectionist when it came to the look of his pristine yard and spotless car, never having a blade of grass or speck of dust out of place. He was a proud member of the Stevensville American Legion Post 568, Trinity Lutheran Church, and very active in attending his 1958 class reunion activities. Loren was an incredible man with a personality and smile that would light up a room; he will truly be missed by all who knew him. Loren is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Helen; son, Mark Wilson; siblings, Gordon Wilson & Patricia Hanner; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Iva; and his brother, Richard.
