Sharon's Obituary

Sharon L. Siefken, 77, formerly of Stevensville, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 in El Paso, Texas. Private burial will take place where she will be buried with her parents at Spring Arbor Cemetery in Spring Arbor, MI. Arrangements are entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel, St. Joseph. Sharon was born October 8, 1943 in Detroit. She graduated from Western High School in Parma, Michigan, Class of 1961. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Adrian College. Sharon was an elementary school teacher in Detroit for 8 years and Benton Harbor Area Schools for 30 years, retiring at age 60. She was a member of Grace Christian Center Church and in her free time enjoyed visiting friends and relatives in the St. Joseph area and her cat, Precious. Sharon is survived by her sister Carol Levell of El Paso; niece & nephews - Julie (David) Craft, Robert (Anne) Levell, Jerry Levell; and great niece Kylie Levell Craft. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Jerry Levell. Her family would like to thank Kathy Shafer for all her help and friendship to Sharon. We are grateful Sharon had such an amazing and loyal friend in her last years before meeting her Heavenly Father.
