Keith Herbert Siegel

Keith Herbert Siegel, 69, of New Buffalo, passed away on Sunday, December, 27, 2020 at Franciscan Hospital in Michigan City, IN. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel & Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Keith was born on March 10, 1952 in Chicago, IL, to Bruce & Mae (Grace) Siegel. He graduated from Lane Tech College Prep High School and continued his education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Keith worked as a consulting engineer for AEP and Sargent & Lundy in Chicago. On July 3, 2002, Keith married Suzanne Hines at the former Miller’s Country House in their outside garden. Keith and Suzanne enjoyed traveling the world together; their favorite spots being Italy and Cozumel, Mexico. He also liked reading historical books on past American wars. However, what brought Keith the most joy was spending time with his family and pets. Keith is survived by his wife of 18 years, Suzanne; six children; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother. He was preceded in death by his parents.
