Carianna May Dolan “Annie”, 28, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Spectrum Health Lakeland, St. Joseph from interstitial lung disease due to lupus and respiratory complications due to Covid.
Annie was born September 24, 1992 in Chicago. Annie worked as a camp leader for kids at the Phantom Lake YMCA Camp, in Lifetime Fitness kids’ programs and child care, was a talented photographer who sold her work, and was using Facebook to encourage and inspire others in their faith and in the fight against autoimmune illness. Her son was her life and her reason to fight for it.
Annie is survived by her son, Julian Alexander Shustar; her parents, John and Kathy Dolan; and her siblings, Shaun (Shannon) Dolan, Christopher (Valerie) Dolan, Laura (Brad) Bruce, Brian Dolan, and nieces and nephews Matthew, Alexis and Jessica Dolan; Kevin, Tyler and Myles Bruce; and Evelyn and Olivia Dolan.
Annie was a mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt and godmother.
Services will be planned at a later date, post pandemic. Memorial contributions may be given to the Lupus Foundation of America at lupus.com.
