Sharron Gray

Sharron Gray, 82, of Decatur, passed away, Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Sharron was born April 4, 1938 in South Bend, Indiana to Frank & Elizabeth (Campbell) Morros. Sharron devoted her life to caring for her home & family, and also worked in the cafeteria for many years for Decatur Schools. She was a member of the Volinia Baptist Church in Volinia, where she enjoyed participating in Sunday School. In her free time, Sharron enjoyed shopping, reading, needlepoint, and her canine companions Cupcake & Lulu. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Sharron is survived by her children-Nick (Julia) Gray of Paw Paw, MI, Susan (Michael) Buckhold of Marcellus, MI, Becky (Robert) Howe of Manton, MI; grandchildren-Nicholas (Rebecca) Gray, Heather (David) Castonguay, Nathan (Patty) Buckhold, Cole (Regina) Buckhold, Megan (Darren) Mercier, Jessica Gray, Grayson (Brittany) Barton, Brandon Smith, Adam (Ashlee) Smith & Elizabeth Buckhold; great-grandchildren-Harrison Gray, Axel Smith, Wyatt, Ellieana, Waylon & Hadley Buckhold, River & Brayden Mercier; her siblings-Steve (Mary Lou) Bainbridge, Matthew (Melinda) Bainbridge, Beth (Michael) Houseman, Rhea Konapinski, Bonnie (Steve) Perez; and numerous nieces & nephews. Sharron was preceded in death by her father & step-mother-Frank & Pearl Morros, her mother & step-father Elizabeth & Ralph Bainbridge; a great-grandson Dawson Gray, and siblings-Marcia Selbee, Greg Bainbridge, Ray Morros & Berta Morros. Arrangements are entrusted to Newell Chapel & Cremation Services, Decatur. Private burial will take place. Memorial donations in Sharron’s name may be made to the Cass County Animal Control.
