Jerry Wayne Hoffman

Jerry W. Hoffman, 40, of Lansing, formerly of St. Joseph, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020. A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020, at 1pm, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Jerry was born on February 1, 1980, to Anthony “Tony” & Saundra (Martin) Hoffman in St. Joseph. He graduated from St. Joseph High School and most recently was working for Capstone LLG., as a delivery driver. Jerry loved singing and playing music. He also enjoyed watching movies. He had a passion for being outdoors, hiking in the mountains. Jerry will be remembered for his kind heart and loving spirit. Jerry is survived by his mother, Saundra Hoffman of St. Joseph; girlfriend, Elisa Pope of Lansing; sister Heather Escobar of Benton Harbor; nieces & nephews, Gabriella & Abigail Escobar, Antonio & Daniel Texco-Hoffman; grandmothers, Gwendolyn Little of St. Joseph & Dorothy Hicks of Stevensville; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jerry was preceded in death by his father Tony Hoffman in January 2020.
