Mildred Louise Teft

Mildred Louise “Millie” Teft, 91, of St. Joseph, MI, passed away on Tuesday-December 8, 2020 at The Willows in St. Joseph. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel – 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. A graveside service will take place on Friday, December 11, 12noon, at Greenwood Cemetery in Bridgman, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to Caring Circle Hospice, 4025 Health Park Ln, St. Joseph. Mildred was born on March 21, 1929 in Benton Harbor, MI to the late Willard and Katherine (Ridenour) Teft. She was a teacher with the Lakeshore Public School System for many years retiring in 1989. Mildred was always joyful with a great sense of humor, she loved her students and teaching, had a twinkle in her eye and a beautiful smile and soul. Mildred is survived by nieces – Diane (Horst) Massier, Cassy (John) Reinert and Mary (Dan) Wolf. Preceding her in death are sisters – Maryella Lee and Norma Jean Freier and a brother – Willard Teft.
