Willow Dean Mangrum of Dacula, Georgia passed away on October 31, 2020 in Monroe, Georgia. Before moving to Georgia, Willow lived in Buchanan and Niles, Michigan. Willow was born in Humphrey, Arkansas on April 25, 1932 to parents William Jefferson Bryant and Pliney Mary Elizabeth Branscum Bryant. Willow had twenty brothers and sisters who proceeded her in death. Willow married Melton Leroy Mangrum, Sr. on October 21, 1964 who proceeded her in death. Willow is survived by her children, Linda Hoover (Ray) of Elkhart, IN, Edna Brown (Denny) of Niles, MI., Rita Owen (Ted) of Jasper, GA, Nathan Neilson (Proceeded in death), Michael Neilson of Elkhart, IN, Melton Leroy (Roy) Mangrum, Jr. (Samantha) of Dacula, GA and Lori Miller (Proceeded in death); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. The services will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 at noon at the First Missionary Baptist Church located at 925 Chippewa Street, Buchanan. MI with Brother Charles Johnston officiating. Public visitation will be at the church from 11:00am to noon. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Buchanan. Arrangements were taking care of by Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, Ga and Swem Chapel in Buchanan. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.swemchapel.com. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Missionary Baptist Church in Buchanan.
