She attended St. Joseph Schools, University of Arizona and received her Bachelors Degree from Andrews University in 1992 as a Landscape Designer. She worked for several different nurseries for a few years before starting her own landscaping business, Perennial People. She retired in 2013. Dani was an avid motorcyclist. She and her husband, Dog, along with family and friends crisscrossed the United States on their Harley-Davidsons, attending bike rally’s, going on vacation and visiting State and National parks. In 2008, Dani set a land speed record on her 1938 Harley. Dani and Dog would always say, “that the best way to see this great country of ours is from the seat of a Harley Davidson.” Dani was most proud of her gardens, which she gradually built-up over a period of many years. She utilized the innumerable flowers, plants, trees and shrubs in her gardens and the way that they were carefully placed them to ensure that she had flowers in her garden 10 months out of the year. Her gardens encompassed a total of almost half an acre and she maintained it all with great love. Her gardens will live for many years as a testament of her love of plants and the soil. Dani is survived by her husband Richard (Dog) Mielke; her son, Rusty Baginske; her granddaughter, Jenna (Anthony) Fletcher; her sister, Diane (Herb) Pringle; her sister Doreen Hill; brother-in-law, Ross (Vennie) Mielke; sister-in-law, Janice Mielke; dear friends, Linda and John Wetkowske and a host of nieces and nephews. Dani was preceded in passing by her mother, Clarice Sells; sister, Deborah Hill and her mother and father-in-law, Eleanor and Leon Mielke. May She Rest in Peace.
