Gerald Charles Zoller

Gerald Charles Zoller, 77, of Stevensville, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2020 at Caretel Inns of Lakeland, St. Joseph. The family will receive guests from 9:30am until time of Celebration of Life Service at 10:30am, Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial to follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery, Stevensville. Memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan, www.humanesocietyswm.org. Gerald “Gerry” was born March 27, 1943 in Cincinnati, OH to Charles and June (Fisher) Zoller. He was a graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati before going on to obtain his Master’s Degree in mechanical engineering. Gerry worked at Chemineer in Dayton, OH until his retirement in 1997. In 1995, he married the love of his life, Margie Herbstreit. Gerry was a genuine family man; but his grandchildren were the true highlight of his life. Gerry is survived by his wife of 25 years, Margie Zoller; his loving family, Kimberly Christie, and Jeffrey Schroeder; his grandchildren, Andrew Schroeder, Abigail Schroeder, Ashley Christie, and Scott (Kelsey) Christie; his sister, Patricia (Ron) Keeling; and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Caretel Inns for their loving care of Gerry in his final years.
