Claris's Obituary
Claris Nadine Shubinski, 90, of Stevensville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Caretel Inns of Lakeland, St. Joseph.
A graveside celebration of life will be held at 1pm, Friday, August 14, 2020 at Hickory Bluff Cemetery, Stevensville, Pastor Tom Bird officiating.
Claris was born on July 18, 1930 in Pikeville, KY to Elliot and Martha (Horn) Justice. She met and married the lake Jake Shubinski. Claris proudly worked at the Herald Palladium for many years in the advertising department. She was very artistic, and enjoyed painting as well as crafting.
Claris will be missed by her children, Pam (Mark) Kwader and Raymond (Carol) Shubinski; her grandchildren, Julie (Tom) Tancredi, and Jennifer (Patrick) McDonnell; four great grandchildren; and her siblings, Morris (Gail) Justice, and Billy Joe (Shirley) Justice.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Shubinski; and her parents.
