Helen Mary Quardokus

Helen Mary Quardokus, 95, of Stevensville, passed away, Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Pine Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center in Stevensville. Private family services and burial will be held at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Memorial donations in Helen’s name may be made to Caring Circle Hospice. She graduated from St. Joseph High School, Class of 1942. On November 15, 1944, she married her high school sweetheart, Fay G. Quardokus, and they celebrated sixty-three years together before his passing on April 4, 2008. Helen devoted her life to her husband and three children. She cherished the time spent together with them. Helen enjoyed the beauty of nature on their wooded property on Cleveland Ave. and the beauty of Lake Michigan and it’s beaches. Helen is survived by her children-Susan Quardokus of Stevensville, Sally (William) Lyons of Caledonia, MI, Michael F. Quardokus of Stevensville; two grandsons-Mark (Tonya) Lyons of Wayland, MI, Gary Lyons of Dorr, MI; two great-grandsons-Jack & Henry Lyons; and two nieces-Margie Potts & Donna (Mike) Osbourne, both of St. Joseph. She was preceded by her husband Fay, her sister Thelma Potts, and a niece Patricia Sullivan.
