Annie's Obituary
Annie Mae Oliver, 79, of Benton Harbor, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Royalton
Manor, St. Joseph.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel,
2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph.
Annie was born November 9, 1940 in Letohatchee, AL to Matthew and Lorrine (Johnson) Bennett. She
was the only child born to this union. She lived in Tennessee for several years before moving to Benton
Harbor, MI where she spent her career as a chef. Annie attended Word of Truth Ministries in Benton Harbor, MI. She enjoyed going to church every Sunday. Annie was a kind, caring, and loving person. She loved & enjoyed being an outdoorswoman, as well as fishing and shopping.
Annie is survived by her sons, Mitchell Oliver of Oak Ridge, TN; Aaron (Lucy) Oliver of East Ridge, TN;
William (Deirdre) Oliver of Oak Ridge, TN; and Michael (Connie) Oliver Of Oak Ridge, TN; 31
grandchildren, which includes two devoted granddaughters, Olivia Oliver of San Antonio, Tx and Alecia
(Robb) Lee of Benton Harbor, MI; and 24 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James William Oliver; her parents, Matthew and Lorrine (Johnson) Bennett; and her son, Calvin K. Oliver.
