Anne E. Woods

Anne E. Woods, 88, of Bridgman, MI passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Crown Point in Stevensville. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 P.M., Monday, July 13, 2020 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Father Arthur Howard officiating. Burial will follow at New Troy Cemetery in New Troy. Friends may visit from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M., Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Caring Circle or Humane Society of Southwest Michigan. Those wishing to share a memory of Anne online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com Anne was born August 26, 1931 in Rogers, Ark., to Lee & Agnes (Palenske) Jacobs. On August 27, 1955 she married John L. Woods in Cotter, Ark. Prior to her marriage she was a Stewardess for Ozark Airlines. Anne was a homemaker who kept a busy schedule caring for her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed the winter months in Mountain Home, Arkansas and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed her flower garden, shopping for her grandchildren clothes, affectionately called “Nana wear”. Anne especially loved decorating for Christmas with family. Anne is survived by her two daughters Kim (Randy) Paruch and Melissa (Dave Hoffman) Tucker; six grandchildren Zach Paruch, Christina (Darius) Machado, Michelle (Kevin) Rimes, Ashley, Ryan & John Tucker; 3 great grandchildren with another one coming in August. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and a sister.
