Jeremy's Obituary
Jeremy Heiss-Thacker, 32, of Greenfield, NY, formerly of Union Pier, MI, passed away unexpectedly on January 31, 2020. Sommerfeld Chapel of New Buffalo, MI has been entrusted with local arrangements.
Jeremy is survived by his husband Doug Thacker-Heiss; his father-Fred Heiss of Rolling Prarie; his grandmother-Patricia Glossinger of Union Pier; his uncles and aunt-Bruce (Pam) Glossinger of Union Pier. Tom (Gretchen) Mebane of North Carolina, and Cindy Houser; great uncles and aunts-Jack (Sue) Rogers of New Buffalo, Charlotte Rogers of Three Oaks, Judy (Don) Pongelak of Stevensville, Debbie (Dean) Hoover of Stevensville, Jim Glossinger of Fife Lake and Sharon Fox Rogers of Arkansas; and many cousins and friends. Jeremy is preceded in death by his mother-Susan Glossinger-DePriest, his step-father Frank DePriest and his brother Allan Heiss.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Sat. July 11, 2020, 10:00am, at St. Mary of the Lake Church, with Father John Peter Ambrose officiating.
