Helene M. Hoffman

Helene M. Hoffman, 71, of Sister Lakes, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at her home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Those wishing to leave a message of condolence for the family may do so at www.clarkch.com. Helene was born September 29, 1948, in Burnham, IL, to Frederick and Helen (Serafin) Redell. She graduated from high school in 1966. On May 1, 1971, she married the love of her life Richard “Dick” Hoffman at Mother of God Church in Burnham, IL. She worked as a store manager for Famous Footwear for over 20 years before her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed being outside tending to her garden. She loved spoiling her grandkids and cooking for an army. Most of all she loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Helene is survived by her loving husband, Dick Hoffman; children, Tracy (David) Vogel and Kurt Hoffman; grandchildren, Jack, Mark and Abigail; siblings, Marilyn Bembenek and Fred Redell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, John Redell, Anthony Redell and Darlene Hunter.
