Fiore Francis Postelli

Fiore Francis Postelli, 101, of Coloma passed away Monday, May 25, 2020 in Grand Junction, Michigan. There will be a memorial service held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services. Fiore was born November 22, 1918, in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of Frank and Mary (Principa) Postelli. He worked at Whirlpool Corporation for forty years. During his 40 years he worked at Whirlpool, he also worked at Ashley Ford in the evenings and on weekends. After retiring from Whirlpool he started Postelli Steelfab with his son, Robert. He worked at Postelli Steelfab until he was 85 years old. Fiore liked to fish, play cards, camp, travel and square dance. He picked up fruit from some generous local farmers and delivered it to senior centers and homebound senior citizens. Survivors include his children Karol Schoenbaum, Hillsborough, North Carolina; Robert, Beverly Hills, Florida; and Frank Ronald (Annette). He had nine grandchildren: Geoffrey (Anna) Schoenbaum, Shawn (Allen) Mazelin, Gina Postelli, Katherine (Tommy) Thompson, Elizabeth (Jeff) Bachus, Brett (Lidia) Postelli, Mark (Jeanie) Postelli, Jason (Celina) Postelli, and Chad (Alicia) Postelli. He also had fifteen great grandchildren. He also had special relationships with many of his nephews and nieces. Fiore was preceded in death by his wife of almost eighty years, Cleo (Antes) Postelli, and his siblings Jasper, John, Mike, Joseph, George, Sam, Lena and Millie.
