Dale R Jewell

Dale R. Jewell, 96, of Stevensville, MI passed away on Thursday-May 21, 2020 at the Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newell Chapel of Decatur, MI. As per Dale’s wishes he will be cremated and no services will be held. His final resting place will be at Hamilton Cemetery in Decatur. Dale was born on February 25, 1924 in Benton Harbor, MI to the late Marshal and Phyllis (LaCombe) Jewell. He served his country during WWII while in the U.S. Army. On October 22, 1965 in Benton Harbor, MI he married Lynda nee Conway; she preceded him in death on December 28, 2010. Dale retired as a machinist/business owner after many years of working and owning his own business. He is survived by his four children – Sandra Jewell of St. Joseph, Janet (Al) Landeck of Niles, Thomas (Patricia) Jewell of West End, NC and Roger (Dawn) Jewell of St. Joseph; step-son Craig (Maggie) Ruple of Hastings, MI; eleven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and several great and step-great grandchildren. He is also preceded by a brother and a sister.
