Catherine “Cat” A. Berry, 60, of St. Joseph, MI passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Spectrum Health Lakeland Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Cat was born on May 5, 1960 in St. Joseph, MI to the late Jack and Patricia (Wenzler) Rybarczyk. She was a 1978 graduate of St. Joseph High School. Cat worked in customer support at Whirlpool for about 14 years, retiring in 2015. She was always the life of the party, having a contagious laugh, and being loved by all. Cat was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, following in her father’s footsteps. She was also a NASCAR fan and a very good pool player. She will be missed by her family and many friends. Cat is survived by her three sisters, Donna (Tim) Case, Debbie (Tom) Pearson and Jackie (Jon) Ruppel all of St. Joseph; nieces, Jessica (Jason) Flowers, Joni Case, Tricia (Justin) Smith, Nicole (Dustin) Van Harn and Kali (Kyle) Abbott; a grand-niece, five grandnephews and many cousins. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Friday-June 12, 2020 at 3:00pm at Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home in St. Joseph, MI. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 2:00-3:00pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
