Jackie Lee Canard-Reed

Jackie Lee Canard-Reed, of Dowagiac, MI passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020, at her home. Jackie was born November 11, 1968, to Hubert S. and Hattie P. (Richardson) Canard in Dowagiac. She graduated from Dowagiac High School in 1986. Jackie was hard worker who loved to help people, that was shown through her dedication working as a CNA for many years. Most of all she loved her family, especially her granddaughter, Emma. Jackie is survived by two daughters, Krista (Todd Syx) Reed and Ashley (Codie Curtis) Reed; granddaughter, Emma Syx; brothers, Morris Canard, Mike Canard and Tommy Canard; sisters Patsy (Ralph) Elkins, Sarah Bobo, Wilma Miller and Judy Heizenga. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Hubert S. and Hattie P. (Richardson) Canard, sisters Jo Ann Bullock and Betty Shepard; brothers Shelby Canard, Richard Canard, Bobby Canard & Nick Canard. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Jackie’s names may be made to the family, in care of Morris Canard.
