Trevor Dennis Peterman

Trevor D. “Harley” Peterman, 53, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020. A Private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society of Southwest Michigan. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Trevor was born on November 30, 1966, to Frank Peterman & Nancy (Hoogerhyde) McMartin in Kalamazoo. While his main job was working in the repossession industry, Trevor took great pride in protecting our community as a Reserve Police Officer for Baroda Lake Township and the Berrien County Sherriff’s Department. On February 14, 2015, Trevor married Karen Johnson. The two of them loved spending time at the Hartford Speedway; Karen racing and Trevor cheering her on with overwhelming support. He also enjoyed bass fishing and participated in many tournament’s, four wheeling, playing poker with his friends and supporting the second amendment with his avid gun collection. However, what gave Trevor the most joy was spending time with his daughter, Wendy. Trevor is survived by his parents; wife, Karen; daughter, Wendy; and sister, Errin Jordan.
