Barbara Reynolds

Barbara was born on July 2, 1946 in Chicago, to Richard and Gladys Reynolds , she passed away on April 2, 2020 at the Hanson Center in St. Joseph. The family lived and worked in the Chicago area until events brought Barbara to Southwest Michigan, Bridgman and St. Joseph in particular. After Gladys died, Richard reconnected with an old friend, Ruth Banks Balch. They married in 1968 and blended their families of grown children. Barbara graduated from Tinley Park High School. She worked at several places in Chicago with her last employment at Modar in Benton Harbor. She was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Stevensville, especially in their Blood Drives and their participation in Relay for Life. Barbara is survived by her sister, Kathleen Camp (Jay), step-sisters, Susan Russell (Richard) and Patricia Anderson (Wayne). Survivors also include nieces and nephews, Keith Sawyer (Brigette), Andy Sawyer (Nita Nicholie), Sara High (Ken), and Laura Schull great nieces and nephews: Aaron. Zach, Patrick, AnnieRuth, Rose, Alexandra and Ryan. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mom,Ruth, and her brother Tom.
