Ann Marie Stoub

Ann Marie Stoub, 46, was called home peacefully on April 23, 2020 at Spectrum Health Lakeland, St. Joseph. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Hickory Bluff Cemetery, Stevensville. Memorial contributions may be given to the Christian Reformed Church of St. Joseph. Ann was a graduate of Christ Lutheran School, Michigan Lutheran High School, Calvin College, and earned a Master’s Degree in School Psychology at Andrews University and later a Library Science Degree at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. Ann worked as a school psychologist in South Bend and Plymouth, IN. For the past few years, she has lived in St. Joseph and worked in the Stevensville Meijer deli. Ann’s many interests included reading, knitting, and geocaching. She also liked to camp, fish, kayak, and hike, especially at Ludington State Park. She loved music, British TV, Dr. Who, and the Chicago Blackhawks. Ann had many difficulties in life. She had a strong faith in her Creator, Redeemer and Friend, our Lord, Jesus Christ. Ann’s faith was encouraged by the many members of Christian Reformed Church of St. Joseph. They are to be commended for their love. Ann will be missed by her parents, Marvin and Barbara (Decker) Stoub; her sister, Susan (Paul) Aschenbrenner; her niece, Morgan; her nephew, Collin; her step-grandmother, Fennetta (DoornBos-Kuiper) Stoub; and her many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Anne (Van Oosbree) Stoub, and Henry and Clara (Burger) Decker.
