David T. Boyle

David T. Boyle, 74, of Benton Harbor, went to meet his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, Sunday, April 19, 2020 at his home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Crystal Springs Church of God. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dave’s name may be made to Crystal Springs Church of God or Caring Circle Hospice. Dave’s service will be live-streamed at www.crystalspringsfamily.com/ Dave was born December 22, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois to Thomas & Kathryn “Kay” (Schell) Boyle. He graduated from Fenger High School in Chicago, Class of 1964, and earned a Bachelor Degree from Anderson College in Anderson, Indiana in 1968. On June 24, 1967 he married the former Sandy LaShure in Anderson. Dave taught at Covert Public Schools at the elementary level from 1968-1995. Dave was a member of Crystal Springs Church of God where he served as head usher. He cherished the time spent with his Church family on Sundays and other special occasions. In his free time Dave enjoyed tending to his sports cards & memorabilia business-Kard Korner. Dave is survived by his wife Sandy; two sons-Michael (Makiko) Boyle of Tokyo, Japan, Terry (Silvana Viegas) Boyle of Stevensville; his grandson and best buddy Leonardo Viegas-Boyle; brother-in-law Steve and Carol (Nevin) LaShure; two nieces-Courtney and Stephanie; six grand-nephews and nieces-Mason, Olivia, Mariah, Owen, Gabe and Lilly. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son Christopher Boyle on January 19, 1978.
