She married the love of her life, Dewey McLemore, on April 3, 1967 in Jefferson County, Alabama. She worked for EPC in Mattawan where she retired. Marilyn enjoyed tending to her yard and flower garden, playing BINGO, going to Hard Times Restaurant with her sister, Phyllis, every payday to enjoy their omelets and fishing with her brother, Dewayne. She also enjoyed going to fish fry’s at Gary and Sandy's. Any weekend Marilyn was able to spend with Donna & Louie, she would always take advantage of creating new inside jokes with the two of them. Some of her greatest memories were times spent with her family in her yard, listening to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed time with family and friends and playing music. Marilyn’s biggest love in life was her family. She deeply loved each of her siblings and nieces and nephews, they were like her children. The love she had for each and every one was unconditional.
