Elizabeth Mae Robinson

Elizabeth “Betty” Mae Robinson, 84, formerly of Dowagiac now of Prior Lake, MN, passed away on Sunday-March 22, 2020. Arrangements have been entrusted to Clark Chapel in Dowagiac, MI. Betty was born on October 23, 1935 in Glenwood, MI to the late Charles and Agnes (Dastal) Brezen. On Sept. 1, 1956 in Dowagiac she married Kent Robinson of Decatur, MI. They took up residence in Burnsville, MN in 1964. Betty was a spunky lady that always stayed busy tending to her yard and gardens. It was there she raised her children enjoying activities including tennis, cross country skiing, ice skating, golf and fishing. Betty enjoyed her annual fishing trips with Kent in Nisswa, Minnesota where in the mornings they enjoyed listening and watching the loons. Betty is survived by her husband Kent and her children, Mike (Stacey Lipp) Robinson and their children Sydney and Sofie of West Fargo, ND, Lisa (John Dybevik) Robinson of Bloomington, MN, and her children Allyson of Montgomery, MN, Justin of New Prague MN, Amber of Rochester, MN and Brandon of Rochester, MN. She was also blessed with 3 great grandchildren Elizabeth, Morgan and Kolton. Betty is also preceded in death by her two brothers-Robert and Jerry Brezen. A private family gathering took place in Minnesota. A celebration of life is being planned for the summer of 2020 in Dowagiac, MI. Betty’s final resting place is at Crane Cemetery in Volinia, MI.
