Dena Ruth Butterworth

Dena Ruth Butterworth, 46, of Decatur, passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 in Kalamazoo. She was born November 21, 1973 in Kalamazoo to Darrell and Nancy (Clendenin) Butterworth. The family will receive guests from 12pm until time of celebration of life at 1pm, Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Newell Chapel 83313 M51, Decatur. Burial to follow at Harrison Cemetery, Decatur. Dena loved her family, but she was especially fond of her grandchildren. Her favorite activity, along with scrapbooking, was playing with her grandchildren any chance she could. She will be dearly missed. Dena is survived by her sons, Devin (Kaitlyn) Mortimore, and Kyle (Ashlee Huggens) Mortimore; her parents; her fiancé, Steven Carlock; her step-children, Steven (Becky) Carlock, Kyle Carlock, Angela (Joey) Perdue; her grandchildren, Annabelle, James, and Chase McConnell, Abigail and Blake Mortimore, Neveah Teague, and Perry Ibitison; her siblings, Debbie (Joel) Martinez, and David Butterworth; and several nieces and nephews.
