Sherrilee J. Wade

Sherrilee J. “Sherri” Wade, 77, of Dowagiac, passed away, Monday, February 3, 2020, at Lakeland Hospital in Niles. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Friday, February 7, 2020, at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St. Dowagiac. Sherri was born April 26, 1942, to Albert and Lillian (Palzer) Bannow. She graduated from Cassopolis High School in 1961. Sherri worked for Jessup Door for many years before her retirement. She was a long-time member of the Dowagiac Moose Lodge. She loved frogs and had an endless collection of them. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting and loved traveling with her friends. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Sherri is survived by her daughters, Lynn Wade of Dowagiac and Marsha (David) Sayre of Decatur; grandchildren, Shane Wade, Michael (Haley) Sirk, Jackie (Pierre) Riggs, David (Inna) Sayre and Megan (Devon) Sayre and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Richard Bannow, Bud Bannow Norm Bannow and Dennis Bannow.
